The on board Flash memory ranging from 4MB-256MB and up to 64MB SDRAM available on Explorer board enables it to host embedded Linux kernel. The advanced on-board interfaces including support for SD/MMC card, TFT LCD display, CMOS camera, Audio DAC makes it an ideal choice for multimedia applications, but has the flexibility to take on a whole range of different functions as a powerful computing environment. In addition to this, peripherals like 10/100 Mbps Ethernet, USB host/device, Image sensor interface and serial port interfaces are added for supporting various embedded application domains The comprehensive user documentation and an intuitive Integrated Development Environment (Triton IDE – Starter Edition) supplied with the board provides a great start for anyone who wish to develop multimedia application or any similar powerful application within no time.
